If a picture speaks a thousand words, then what could be better than a photo book to mark The Moscow Times' 10th birthday?

Staff at Moscow's first English-language daily have selected more than 150 of its photographers' best pictures from 1992 to 2002.

The photographs, together with articles by founder Derk Sauer and all the newspaper's current and former editors-in-chief, are combined in a 160-page hard-cover photo album entitled "Reflections. A Decade in Photographs. 1992-2002."

The bilingual Russian- and English-language book does not attempt to comprehensively document these 10 years in Russia's history. It does, however, offer reflections of a decade's news and faces, as seen through the eyes of The Moscow Times' photographers.
